Instructor Training in Birmingham with Just Pass School of Motoring

Have you held a Full UK license or European/Economic area driving license for at least 3 1/2 years

Can you read a number plate of 275 m 90 feet away?If so then you can become a driving instructor in Birmingham.

As a driving instructor you will be your own boss and have flexibility to work the hours that you want work in the area that you want to work in. As a driving instructor no two days are the same. Every day you will be meeting new very different people from all walks of life with the same common goal. To pass their driving test. 

Naturally you will feel very pleased when you get a pupil through their driving test but if this is not enough you will also have the earning potential of up to £30,000 (a very attractive earnings bracket.) 

When you contact us you will be allocated an instructor trainer who will guide you through every step of the examination tailoring his tuition to your needs ensuring that you can become a driving instructor at your own pace. Our courses are very flexible you can do them part time or full time. As well as this you also have full support of our office staff should you require it.
So what does it involve?

There are 3 parts to the qualifying examination which have to be taken in order. * Phone for latest special offers!

PART 1
Multiple choice theory test- This is multiple choice test where you have to answer 85% correctly to pass. There are 100 questions so that means you need to score 85. Each question will have 4 answers and you will have to choose the correct answer. At the end of the theory test you will have to do a hazard perception test. The hazard perception test is done on a computer and there are 14 video clips. You will have to click the mouse each time you spot a developing hazard. The pass mark for this test is 57 out of 75.

PART 2
This is a practical driving test where you will be expected to drive on all sorts of roads including motorways. You will only be allowed to make 6 minor faults. 

PART 3
This is the final test and it will test your ability to teach. It is split up into two half hour driving lessons. This is a role play exercise. The examiner will take the driving seat and you will have to give the examiner 2 half hour lessons on the topics he has chosen to examine you on.

Part 1
For this test we will provide you with all the study material you need to pass this section. We will also give you mock tests to make sure you are ready before you take the real examination. Part 2
For this test you will be given 12 hours of driving instructor training. On your lesson with our driving instructor trainer your driving will be assessed and any problems with your driving will be rectified. The training will be conducted around a nominated DSA test centre.

Part 3
For this test you will receive 40 hours training. Your trainer will teach you how to conduct each preset test. So that on the day of the test you are prepared.

Once you have done your 40 hour driving lessons you can go on the road as a trainee instructor. We will sponsor you so you can get the trainee badge. This will allow you to go and get experience for your part 3 examination and also is an opportunity to help you earn some money. The whole course has to be done within two years of passing part 1. Unlike other driving schools in Birmingham you can pay as you learn; so it is not a strain on your finances.
